JOB DESCRIPTION

CONTEXT :

  • Track and improve performance of Channel based on insights from data analysis
  • Quantitative Analysis and Strategic planning using BARC Data, AdvantEdge for FPC planning and Promo Planning
  • Getting studies actioned and giving Content Team insights based on the studies conducted
  • Maintain a strong internal relationship with Programming, Marketing to aid business

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Using statistical techniques to interpret data, analyse results and provide insights
  • Proactively identify business opportunities & possible potential challenges and work towards mitigating it.
  • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to successfully meet objectives
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

PERFORMANCE MEASURES :

  • Ability to deliver on strict timelines
  • Quality of analysis & insights generated

QUALIFICATION :

  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics
  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or Statistics
  • Knowledge of statistical tools required; comfort with numbers is a prerequisite
  • Knowledge of SQL, MySQL and R is desired
  • Basic Knowledge of Excel & Power-point

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :

  • Strong Analytical skills [statistics] with ability to analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to think long term & short term
  • Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills
  • Understanding Data Analytics techniques
  • Proactive, highly result oriented
  • Self-motivated, Self-Driven
