The Senior Research Analyst is responsible for supporting the FOX Broadcast Network’s research team in analyzing audience behavior across traditional television, on-demand, and streaming platforms.  This role requires strong quantitative and analytical skills.  The Senior Research Analyst will be responsible for processing audience data sets, compiling reports and composing analyses that support key client departments including Marketing, Communications, Programming and Scheduling.  This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative team.  The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator and a detail-oriented self-starter who will thrive in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.  


  • Process and compile audience data (Nielsen ratings and internal multi-platform audience metrics) for various program and network reports.
  • Support research operations in data management activities, including Nielsen title management to ensure proper program crediting.  
  • Compile weekly program reports and analyses to inform leadership about FOX’s audience performance, the competitive environment and overall TV landscape.
  • Conduct research and analysis to address ad hoc requests and support strategic projects for key client departments.
  • Synthesize and compile meaningful audience insights for research presentations.


  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 1-2 years of prior experience in an analytical role. Prior media research experience is a plus, but not a prerequisite.  
  • Strong ability to problem-solve and think critically.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; familiarity with statistical concepts and data analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with VBA is essential. Proficiency with PowerPoint is required. Experience with data management and business intelligence tools (such as MicroStrategy) is a plus.
  • Competence with the Nielsen suite, including NNTV and NPower, is strongly preferred.  
  • Strong and effective communicator, with the ability to write, facilitate and present analyses in a clear and concise manner.  
  • Motivated and flexible; comfortable with operating autonomously as well as responding to direction from management. Detail-oriented with the ability to effectively manage priorities and deadlines.
