Fox Searchlight Pictures is a specialty film company that both finances and acquires motion pictures. It has its own marketing and distribution operations, and the films are distributed internationally by Twentieth Century Fox. Fox Searchlight Pictures is a unit of 21st Century Fox.


  • Administrative duties include: answering telephones, creating and maintaining six figure budgets for all regional publicity line items, processing and coding theatre and vendor invoices.
  • Responsible for the coordination and organization of all department charts: promotional partners chart, publicity chart, booking report and final promotional value chart.
  • Compile and distribute regional screening reports, breaks and reviews daily
  • Organize logistics of press junkets: maintaining master press lists, coordinating travel for junket press, ordering materials, and assist in the building of junket binders.
  • Serve as back-up contact for regional field agencies
  • Support day-to-day tasks of the field managers
  • Assist managers with PA Tour schedules and talent travel logistics
  • Attend and oversee academy, promotional and press screenings
  • Attend and assist special events as needed (premieres, junkets, Festivals etc)
  • Directly assists and supports day-to-day tasks of the VP of Field Publicity
  • Supports VP in the ideation, creation and distribution of promotional items
  • Maintains relationships, correspondence, and account set up for vendors
  • Assisted with daily tasks such as scheduling meetings, booking flights and filing expenses

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, English or Journalism or related Media field is preferred
  • 1 to 2 years minimum experience in a movie studio, agency or publicity firm is required or similar internship exposure.
  • Must be adept at multitasking and organize and prioritize workload effectively. 
  • Microsoft Office, Basic to Intermediate Excel, Basic Photoshop skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work well under time constraints in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
  • Adept as a self-starter and proactive in starting projects, asking questions and taking on departmental projects and tasks as needed. 
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks working independently and with a team.
  • Be able to work flexible hours, including overtime during the week and on weekends, when necessary.
  • Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills and be very organized and detail oriented. 
  • Social Media tools, research and trends knowledge is essential.
