FOX Sports Midwest is searching for a Preditor (Producer/Writer/Editor) to join their team in St. Louis. This position is responsible for planning and producing content for programs on the network. The incumbent will execute the production process, including conception, writing, scheduling and editing all video, audio and graphic materials necessary for production of programming. This will include pre-game shows, post-game shows and features for use in game broadcasts as well as working directly with Avid editing systems and managing the planning and production for on-site location shoots.


  • Executes the production process, including conception, writing, scheduling and editing all video, audio and graphic materials necessary for production of programming, features and the like for shows on the network
  • Research and preparation time for production and/or editing of content
  • Attends and produces on-site location shoots for Elements used in game broadcasts, pre-game and post-game shows


  • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalency - Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred
  • 2 or more years of experience producing television programming is necessary - previous news and/or sports production experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of Avid and other linear and non-linear editing systems is required
  • Great oral and written communication skills are required
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills are required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook is needed
  • A working knowledge of sports, including college basketball, NHL, NBA and the MLB is necessary
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends is required
