JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Originate ideas/strategies and concepts, develop pitches, oversee and supervise all aspects of creative production for on-air and the regional marketing efforts. Implement promotions of corporate initiatives. Promote a creative culture of innovation and marketing elements.
  • Source and develop relationships with regional teams and outside vendors.
  • Develop and execute strategies that demonstrate measurable influence on the metrics of the business including ratings, web traffic and complement social media efforts.
  • Working with Sales Management to create, manage and execute revenue generating sales promotions, including network distribution outlets (i.e. TV, Internet, Mobile, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Education / Experience: A bachelor's degree and 8-10 years related experience. Advertising agency or major sports team experience with an emphasis in consumer marketing or brand development is a priority. Demonstrate experience in managing creative personnel and administrative duties. Strong interdepartmental skills are essential.
  • Language / Communication:   Applicant must possess strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills. 
  • Other Skills / Requirements:   Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Physical Demands: Frequently required use of hands and fingers to write, manipulate telephone and computer keyboard.  Regularly required to hear, talk and use close vision.
  • Work Environment: Primarily works in an office environment, in post-production edit bays, on sets and has the ability for frequent travel. Nights and weekends are required.
