80%: Serve as social media correspondent for Miami Heat road games. That includes – but is not limited to -- repurposing linear content for digital distribution, as well as showcasing in-game highlights, breaking news, storylines, interviews with athletes and staff, etc.
20%: Serve as social media correspondent for select games for the Orlando Magic, Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Miami Marlins and Tampa Bay Rays. That includes – but is not limited to -- repurposing linear content for digital distribution, as well as showcasing in-game highlights, breaking news, storylines, interviews with athletes and staff, etc.
Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-2 years’ experience working with social media platforms. History working in a live sports or news environment is a plus. Must be able to write engaging, creative and professional copy for all social media platforms. Should be well-versed in general sports knowledge and understand how to research and find answers to information they may not know. Must be able to adapt to and adjust to sudden changes in storylines or news.
