70%: Serve as social media correspondent all Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Rays home games. Position will be routinely stationed on site for events, coordinating with the production and broadcast teams for pregame posts on social media. Position will also work out of press box on site to clip and post in-game highlights and linear features to our social media accounts.
20%: Serve as social media correspondent for select Orlando Magic games and high school football games in the North/Central Florida area. Position will also work out of press box on site to clip and post highlights and linear features to our social media accounts.
10%: Assist with production, social content creation and distribution of network messaging and priorities across digital platforms.
Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-2 years’ experience in hosting and/or producing digital content. Proficiency in Avid Media Composer, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite, and extensive knowledge of video production is expected. Experience in -- and comfortable -- with not only video production, but also with hosting and being on camera. Familiarity and proficiency in all social media platforms, including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat. Well-rounded knowledge of sports in North and Central Florida, especially the Orlando Magic, Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Rays. Position is based in Tampa and must be available for occasional travel between Tampa area and Orlando. Must be comfortable in professional sports environment. Spanish proficiency encouraged.
