The duties of this position include but are not limited to the following task and responsibilities:

Responsible for the creation and maintenance of show formats onto program logs monthly and weekly revisions as issued by Program Department.

Responsible for the timely scheduling of show formats to ensure accurate spot avails are generated for: Braves, Hawks, Predators, Hornets, Hurricanes, Reds, Cardinals, ACC Football and Basketball, and all other ancillary programming.

Work closely with the traffic management to resolve avail discrepancies.

Monitor schedule changes and other incoming information to cover various log scheduling scenarios: simulcast information (ACC CFB or ACC CBK on the main log and full game on an alternate log FSACC, or a sectional game on the alternate FSSCT or SSSCT depending on network), multi-channel and multi-log (Predators, Hurricanes, Hornets, Grizzlies will require separate logs).

Check Transponder Report for events that are scheduled in different master control rooms, and determine when multiple alternate logs are needed for a given day/date.

Coordinate show changes with Log Editors to ensure immediate attention to inventory.

Check ScheduAll for entering show titles, episode numbers and source codes.

Responsible for reviewing and emailing daily discrepancy reports; where appropriate, takes action to research issues and distribute the results to appropriate staff.

Responsible for distributing program schedule for the network to appropriate staff.

As necessary, will back up other traffic operations staff.


Bachelor’s degree

Experience with Wide Orbit Traffic System

Meticulous attention to detail, organization skills and accuracy

Ability to prioritize and work effectively under tight deadlines

Must have ability to handle multiple tasks

Problem solving skills and ability to work through challenges methodically

Ability to work independently, as well as be a strong part of a team
